I'm interested in starting a ppc campaign with Microsoft AdCenter. I would definately love to make use of one of those $75 coupons, but as they say, it is only for US residents. There's something funny about this, when I access the site, it asks me for my location and the only options it gives me are USA and Canada. So I select USA, because it doesn't give me a more accurate option for my location. Would this make me elegible to use a coupon? Also, I've been looking for AdCenter coupons, in case they work, but it seems I got 10 days late to the party. All of them expired on 30/06/2008 Does anyone know when Microsoft will release new codes? By the way, are those coupons activated as soon as you click the link or do you have to insert them? if so, where? Thank you very much for you time.
Good Morning $earner, The promotional code guidelines are as follows: - valid only for new advertisers opening a new account with Microsoft adCenter. - does not apply to the one-time $5 activation fee required to open a new account. - must be fully redeemed in click spend within 90 days of sign-up. - Promotional credit good only to residents in the 50 United States and Washington, D.C. Please note: 1. Advertisers will be charged for advertising that exceeds the promotional credit. 2. Advertisers will need to suspend their ads if they do not wish to receive additional charges beyond the free credit amount, or after 90 days from sign-up. Limit: this offer is limited to one per customer. This promotional offer may not be combined with any other offer or discount, separated, redeemed for cash, transferred, sold, or bartered. There is a minimum bid requirement of $0.05 per click through in adCenter. Search listings are subject to editorial review. See Advertiser Terms and Conditions for more details at sign-up. Other terms and conditions may apply. When creating your new adCenter account, there will be a area for you to enter the promotional code on the page that you submit the credit card information. Hope this helps! adcenterRep
I have one more question. For US residents, when they enter the promotional code, is there any on screen notification telling them that the code worked and the amount of credit they obtained before they submit their credit card (before they get charged $5)? I'm still confused because when Microsoft asks me for my location it doesn't give me an accurate option. That's why I thought the promotional code could work for me. So I want to try it anyway. If I try the code will Adcenter tell me I'm not elegible or will it say the code works even if I won't receive any credit? Thank you adCenterRep
when i took advantage of this deal, it did not show the credit when you put in your cc info - only way to tell was to go back into your account after submitting cc, credit was on the account. btw - i wasn't impressed by the traffic sent to my sites - yahoo was better for me and of course google is king.
Hey $earner, When entering in the promotional code, if you are not eligible, you will recieve a pop up. This takes place before the account creation is complete. adCenterRep
