Hi, I am quite new to wordpress blogging.I have my blog setup using free hosting and domain to test while I am planning to buy domain and hosting in near future. So,my questions are that how to add adsense in template of wordpress.I know there are a lot of similar threads but i couldn't find answer there i.e I want to add adsense in sidebar of my template.I am using adsense deluxe,using that i created adsense defualt value.now the question is that what and where should i add to have adsense in sidebar.There was some code given in adsense-deluxe help but i just went off my head. second question is that my blog address is http://zishan.1majorhost.com/laptops/ I wanted to ask that is it worth spending time on blog like this I mean will they be ranked in SE like wordpress or blogspot blogs?as they are also on sub-domains like wordpress and blogspot? thanks
I'm not sure what adsense-deluxe is, but I have added adsense in the past by copying and pasting code directly from the Google site into my sidebar template. Seemed to work without a hitch.
that is not true! overall i am not sure about where to put the code for adsense-deluxe, normally i just copy & paste the code into the templae files, in your case it would be sidebar.php if your planning on buying a domain for your site your probably better off waiting till you have the domain set up etc, u could use ur free host as a testing ground or something.
forget about domain for an instance! I want to ask that if i start a blog with the same URL as mentioned above,will it rank as high as other blogspot or wordpress.com blogs or not?since both are on sub-domain.
