Love the pics & Info , one of my unfulfilled dreams is to visit the golden temple once in my life.

I love the sikh community in general , good kindhearted jovial & very helpful people, have a lot of sikh friends since childhood . There is really a lot of misinformation & jokes made out of them by ignorant people , sikhs are also one of the most enterprising community in india & their business skills & acumen can be matched by few. Then there are those in the west who think sikhs are part of islam , again ignorance.

 

What is that, gold leaf?

 

I don't mean this in offense, and am asking in all seriousness, what do you all believe?
Doy ou have a heaven/nirvana? how do you get there?

Wow, so much tolerance from this temple. I hope all Muslims and also Christians can adopt this kind of tolerance because they simply don't have it!

 

The Sikh religion had grown primarily due to intolerence of Muslims itself

 

Tolerance need to be exercise by all human, even non-believers. He/she//it who create us also creates the person next to you. It's that simple but we humans want to make it complicated and just bash each other.

We rather follow what politicians say/religious leader say than truly become a human being and let individuality empower us rather than society.

 

I forget what they are called, but didn't the British Army keep an elite Sikh unit for the longest time, even after they gave up India?

As far as Sikh vs. Muslim, there is a lot of bad blood on both sides, no need to resurrect that here. I'm familiar with the Khalistan/Pakistan debate.
