That's right I have just seen a thread on Hitler being a Junkie. Boy this guy should read up the facts. Then you get some one replying saying basically it was the USA that won the war. Jes it is painful to hear this tosh!
Umm yeah he apparently was a junkie, homosexual and allegedly was a child molester(chased his niece endlessly) All according to a HBO special I saw and a few documentaries I had seen on him on the History channel. And why wouldnt you think that US won the war. Indeed many helped, but Europe was being badly beaten down by Hitler and could hardly hold their own, with the exception of England. And the South Pacific was just crazy against the Japenese. And Africa was just bombarded by Germany.
Damm some people are retarded Anyway Usa didn't won the War England and Rusia bet up germany of course with the help of USA
With a qoute like this is invaluable to say the least. The US helped to win the war. Yes indeed with the help of US Germany lost. Prior to the help of the US, how far did Germany get into Russia. And how badly was England battered by air raids from Gemany. How many European nations fell like dominoes to Germany? And why was that? Was it they were weaker in forces or what?
How far germans went into Russia really has no connection to US entering the war... I see this ww2 threads popping up. Well not really threads but it comes around when we talk about US every time and some american comes and says we should be thankful that they helped us. Just for the reminder. There were free territories in 41 in europe all around TIME magazine has all their issues from ww2 online so people should read about it there a little if they don't want to go to library and read some book ( lazy asses )
But he may have been: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler#Health_and_sexuality I don't think the USA won the war, I think Hitler lost it. Why the hell would he attack Russia I don't know.
Here are some links for why or why not he would and did attack Russia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Barbarossa http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/russia.htm http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/worldwars/wwtwo/hitler_russia_invasion_01.shtml http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP31vwDbIiM Good thing Russia was strong enough to push Hitler back.
Good thing Russia was strong enough to push Hitler back.[/QUOTE] " Prime Minister Churchill" said of the Russian soldiers that they were the toughest soldiers of the time, living on virtually no rations and using ancient weapons. They adopted the right tactics ( just like they did 200 years earlier against Napoleon's " le Grande Armie") that is retreating back into Russia burning and destroying all the food and shelter. Waiting for the Russian winter to take it's toll of their weakened enemy. Brilliant tactics from passionate people fighting for their homeland. That was Hilter's undoing just as it was for Napoleon lessons were never learned.
I wouldn't have like to see the outcome in western Europe if the USA hadn't have entered the European war.
Oil, materials for the war machine.. Whether or not Hitler would have who the war if the Americans didn't enter it is something we will never know, But the fact they did join ensured victory and ended the war considerably earlier than if they hadn't..
I mean to say, I guess...I wouldn't ever want to fight a war on two fronts. I guess if it was to do with materials needed to continue the war, that's another thing but...I would try to finish one side before starting on another.
