You are successful in submitting you site to yahoo for review but that doesn't mean it will be included. Are you referring to the yahoo search engine or directory?

there are multiple options to submit a site to yahoo

    1.
FREE submission of your site for indexing to
    http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request

    2.
same a.m. URL to submit for free RSS feeds
yahoo is a little picky in RSS feeds - the chances are best if you EXACTLY follow their publish mRSS specs - its well wort - you get traffic from Y for accepted feeds !!!

to use this RSS submission efficiently - you need to PING Yahoo each time you update the feed. Yahoo will send TWO different newsfeed bots to your site!
without ping only ONE feed bot comes and you stay out of yahoo news - its the second feed bot that is pinged that gets you into Y-news within less than an hour after pinging ...

    3.
FREE submission to directory for NON-commercial sites - just see the exact guidelines in the Y directory and follow them accurately

    4.
paid inclusion in the directory for commercial sites

to get traffic - Nr 1 above is sufficient for minimum expsure - directory is mainly for PR increase and far lessor for traffic

however allow Y a few weeks or months to actually crawl all your pages and have decent serps resulting in Y traffic
check your access_stats for slurp activities to get an idea about the progress in Y

I read somewhere this afternoon (can't remember where though) that Yahoo! requires a contact address on the site before it will include you in it's SERPs. Sounds a bit bizarre, but was explained in terms of being a 'quality' filter.

Might be worth considering if you're looking at Yahoo! as a search engine, although traditionally my sites haven't got much traffic from them.

I don't know if your trying to submit to the directory or to have your website included in the search. To get your site indexed you just need to get multiple links to your site from other sites that Yahoo crawls.

The most effective way to get listed is quality links from other sites that have lots of links to them.

i found out that usually yaho is way faster to index a new site compared with google, but after a while, google catch up and index more pages.

Gniuz I totally agree with you regarding being indexed in Yahoo faster than in Google. I waited more than a month for my website to be included in Google since Yahoo took only a couple of days.
