I am having GREAT difficulty monetizing my site. I have ebooks on it – affiliate programs - & Google Adsense All with VERY limited success. The only income that I get from it is Google Adsense. If anyone has any other suggestions that have worked for them PLESE let me know, otherwise I may have to shut it down (which After 6 years I REALLY do not want to do). How much traffic are you getting? Obviously, you need a decent amount of traffic to make real money... Also, what's the niche? The best way to monetize traffic really depends on the subject of your website. For some niche's, affiliate programs are great -- especially if there's a profitable offer to promote (that falls within the subject matter of your website). But other niche's might not do well with affiliate programs and running ads (ie: Adsense) is the only real option. But even with ads, if it's not a popular niche (with high CPC rates) it's going to be hard to make a decent amount of income. It's all about the niche! You need to pick out something that has a cobmination of high traffic and high profit potential...
