Just wanted to let people like me who are struggling to bring up their site in Google search results know the places to find some of the best information on the net..

5. Get to know just about everything connected with SEO.

6. Article on link popularity.

7. A ' smashing ' directory list

8. A list of search engines


Hope this helps to some extent. Of course there are a lot of other things to learn and keep in mind as well. The best thing to do would be to consult a SEO professional for help.

If you are using Firefox, there is a wonderful extension for help on SEO. Take a look at it. It is free !

Dont want to pay for a form filler ? Use Fireform again an extension with Firefox. Again free !

There are some web directory list sites that I have to mention.

One is at dmoz

The other is at Web directories . ( Free directories )

The third is at Seo Company ( Free directories )

But watch out for the free directory lists. Sometimes they come up as paid directories !
