Hey Everyone!

I've been painting for a couple years now and have been a member of this forum even longer.. So I thought I would share what I have been doing with you all and I hope that you like it.

I am still a bit of a "noob artist".. lol but I do feel like I get better with each new painting. I've become dedicated to what I am doing and I hope that I become successful one of these days. It's kind of hard at the moment, do to the fact that I have no training, work a 40hr/week job, am broke as a joke, and paint out of my one bedroom apartment. LOL However I know that there are people with much less who have accomplished so much more, so I'm giving it my all.

I don't understand ART .....

 

Basically, whatever moves you.. what draws and emotion from you or what you thing is beautiful or appealing. Aesthetically pleasing, intriguing or something you value for it appearance maybe? lol Art means so many things to so many different people.

I love the Cosmic Battle and Jimbol Jamble paintings on your site! Great work

 

You're extremely talented. Personally, my favorite is "Searing Abysm." It's kind of spooky(it may not have been your intention, but I actually imagine faces in it), but I love it. Unless you object, I put your site in my signature to help you advertise your artwork.

Thank you! A lot of people like Cosmic Battle, it is not one of my favorites though. However I like the meaning, I envisioned a great battle between two alien races taking place in the sky above a lesser civilized humanity. I panted what I felt their interpretation might have been of what they saw. LOL Yes.. I am a sci-fi nut! .. and Ancient Aliens fan. "Jimbol Jamble" was fun, and kinda of random. Thanks for the review and feedback!

Yes, but I really just posted there here for feedback and to share with the community. They are mostly acrylic or mixed media on canvas. I am considering selling some of the full size digital files though.

Nice, I really like "Jimbol-Jamble" too, it was kind of a random painting that sort of just happened, same with the name. But I love the way it turned out.
