Some minor alignment issues, and an IE problem. Please help!

    Hey everyone, this is my first ever coded template done by me. (I'm learning) :p

    Well, I have an alignment problem with the navigation as you can see. In IE, it looks like steps that go down with the navigation too. Those are the only two problems, and I just can't seem to fix them. If someone could help me out, tell me what I'm doing wrong, or give me the code for a fix, I would very much appreciate it.

    I just fixed the alignment issue. The only problem is in Internet Explorer. Please help! Hah.

    Not tested.

    Put the float on li, not on a. Make the ul overflow:hidden;
