Hi there, for Traffic-generating purposes I need some ideas what else is possible to promote my mobile gaming site (see signature). Maybe I'm wrong, but is mobile gaming no growing business anymore? My site is getting middle XXX unique visitors each day, but it should be a lot more in my opinion! The content is absolutely unique and created by myself. I even spent 3 month programming a mobile game by myself (Freddy Episode I, jump'n'run section). Here is what I did so far and if it was worth it: - link exchange / purchasing backlinks => good for promoting special keywords in search engines, but much less traffic then expected - MySpace bulletins - perfect audience for my site => mostly useless, I want my money back! ;-) Maybe a clickrate of 0,1%. - content creation, unique content descriptions for most of the freeware games => some traffic, but much less then expected - user exchange with Arcade site links => useless - DMOZ link => they dont want my site because of the Ads - AdWord, Overtue & Co. => to expensive, no possible ROI because all I'm "selling" is AdSense and Affiliate programs - Directory submission => some OK backlinks..I wished there would be a way to get a link at the freesite.com - but he/she is ignoring my sugesstion-mails - Article site submissins => maybe 10 user/day So thats what I did.
