Some Kind of Update Just Started

What the heck are you talking about?

 

I'm not sure yet, but I believe there is some kind of database update going on. Not PR, yet. Sorry if I'm wrong, but I think something is going on.

 

I'm only showing old data from before Jagger and after the latest backlink update.

 

I haven't noticed any changes.

 

I might totally be wrong, but I see something going on. Guess we'll know more tomorrow.

 

What exactly is this "something going on" lol

Is it a full moon? did your toilet flush the opposite direction?

 

You can take it anyway you want, but something is going on and I'll stand by that statement until proven wrong tomorrow. Good night all!

 

Somethings going on all right......my PR4 site was showing PR5 for a few hours today. It has now gone back to PR4 but my point is, it's never been above 4 before.

 

I think that ww will see update tomorow

 

my new site appeared in google for one of my targeted keywords today

Have you noticed anything in your logs?

I have noticed this trend since "Jagger", old cached content being listed for a day or two, PR and site position drops or gains then it reverts itself. Some people see these anomalies’ and some don't.

This could be anything from clustering problems to database maintenance (when you have that many servers to maintain, things don't always run perfectly). It's probably also tied to your geographic location and what server farm you primarily hit when you run a base query straight out of Google. Who really knows....only Google....

 

I've got this itch on my left toe that tells me there might well be a cow eating grass in a field somewhere in the North of Holland. Hold on tight...

Disclaimer: I might be wrong though. We are awaiting confirmation, check back in 3 weeks.

there is nothing going on but a lot more googlebots crawling my sites for 2 hours or so.

If this is true then a pr update must be going on. Lets hope so.
