I'm starting to see image ads coming up blank on some of my websites today.

Text ads are displaying fine though.

Anyone else seeing this with their image ads?

I'd like to add that it's sporadic and doesn't happen every page view, but it's never happened before today.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I thought maybe it was due to there not being any available ads for my keywords, but I have it set to display public service ads if there are none available. Weird.

Its a rare incident. However, when the publisher himself browse the site adsense is known to be reluctant in showing ads.

Basically that is not a bug or a error guys.It happens because google ad server unable to find a ad to provide to your webpage relevant to your specified keywords and to page content. If there any Public service ad they will show that.if those are also not their sometimes it automatically can be a blank space.Don't worry about that.I think that is happed very really so it's still possible to skip and sleep. :)

This might due to no image ads that match your website

Maybe it's Flash ad, and your browser cannot show it

Generally this happens because Google can not find an image/banner ad that matches the content on your site and dont have inventory to fill the ad. As you know this changes every second so that would explain why it may be blank one moment and work the next. If you are worried just let them display 'public service announcements'. You dont make money from it but it will ensure an image is always displayed.
