they "cant" use it? I thought they were KFC now because shortened names is the trend. Rebok = rbk . Things like that.

    Actually I found this.

KFC actually changed their name nine years ago from Kentucky Fried Chicken to emphasize variety in the menu. As many of you have noticed, the company no longer sells just fried chicken anymore...roasted chicken, chicken sandwiches, etc.

They probably do use hormones to make them grow bigger, faster. That I don't doubt, but this story is just plain dumb.

A bigger question: why did KFC decide to change their company colors from white and orange to blue, red and white? Do the new colors make the food more appetizing??

    1. This whole OP is pathetic. Since he knows is a hoax and didn't edit it, just put a lame link at the end.

    2. I was just at Ketucky Fried Chicken 2 days ago. They are MOST CERTAINLY still using the FULL name, not just KFC. I think they have gone back to the original name. It was on the packaging and signage, so there is no question the full name is still in use.

    3. Just go to http://www.kfc.com/ and you will see the full name in use, today, for yourselves.

    4. I am an idiot for even wasting my time reading and replying to this type of thread. There is just so much WRONG information spread on DP, it almost needs its own snoopes type section to debunk just the crap on DP.

yea, it's a hoax ... chicken is fine, just not "fried", after giving up on "fried" food I reached quickly my normal weight and I generally feel much better (absolutely no "side-effects") eating it more traditionally, no matter the cusine of choice.
