I cannot for the life of me figure these out. My understanding was that if I wanted to see which pages were providing the most income or CTC that I would create a channel for each page and then update the code for that page and paste it in. Doesn't seem to be working. Should this be for different pages on different websites that I take care of? Thanks in advance.
When you say shows up, where do you mean? I have never been able to get it to function. Should I be breaking it down per page or per site? I can find little or no help on this through the Google TOS.
It wouldn't be in the Google terms of service. You would want to look in the FAQ: https://www.google.com/adsense/faq#channel
Nah, that makes too much sense. Why would I want to look there or search google for Adsense Channel FAQ? I am a moron sometimes.... Thanks
The two possibilities which immediately occur to me are: 1. You aren't including the google_ad_channel variable in the Google AdSense JavaScript code on your web page. Review the code. Does it include a line like this? google_ad_channel ="9804303064"; 2. You aren't clicking the right buttons in the AdSense reporting interface. 1. Select a Date Range 2. Select to Show Channel Data 3. Highlight all of your channels 4. Select to Show data by Channel 5. Click <Display Report> What do you see? Do you even see your channels listed next to "Channel Data"?
Correct. This is the step that wasn't intuitive to me. I thought if you chose the ShowChannels radio button it would show the channels. It didn't occur to me that you could look at them individually and that if you wanted to see one or many that you had to highlight them.
Compar, you and me both. I still am struggling with it. I am not sure I can compare all the data to each other except individually and then copy and pasting or downloading.
Yes you can. Just highlight all the channels. You do it the same as highlighting a list of files. Click on the top one, hold down the shift key, and click on the last one. Or if you want only some of them hold down the control key and click on each one you want to add to the list.
I have written a guide for installing a real-time tracker. It allows you to monitor an unlimited number of pages. If you're interested, you can go to: http://marketing-tools-review.com/adsense-tracker/
No offense, but isn't the internet community smart enough now not to go entering their name and email in a one-page forum? hexed
