    Hello guys

I am a total noob to website building and development and would like to start learning.

I own some websites that others have created for me and now just brought a website that is already very nice looking and formatted etc but the text infomation on there is very out of date and needs changing. What program do i need to be able to change this text and maybe change a few small pictures etc and how do i do this?

Like i said TOTAL noob never done more then look at other peoples websites so some advice would be grate just to get me going!

    Thanks

The first thing I would do is open the page you want to change, right click on the page and click "view source". This will open it in notepad, where you can edit whatever text you want to change.

Then, save this edited file as ___.html, filling in the blank with whatever subdirectory it is (if it's the home page, it will probably be index.html).

Then, re-upload this file to your site using cpanel if your hosting account provides this, if not, then use something like coffeecup free ftp.

Some people may require more than 21 minutes to reply.
