Some help for a beginner

Hello everyone! I intend to start building and selling websites as i can create a nice looking website pretty fast so i was wondering how the process look like when selling a site.

Let's say i buy a domain from godaddy, I will receive hosting etc aswell but when i sell my site to the client do i sell the account or how does it work? I understand i can push the domain to the client but i still got the hosting i have to pay for?

Its hard to sell a website fast without getting traffic to it.
I will make you a propose.

First build a website then do SEO and get some traffic to it.
Then sell it.

 

yep you must drive traffic into your web site

 

From my experience people do not want your hosting. They typically already have their own host or server and they will ask you to move the site to thier hosting.

I agree with the above its tough to sell sites with no traffic or revenue unless you can do some mind blowing design work.

 

ok lets say i drive traffic to it and then sell it how does the selling process look like?

 

Yes you can push the domain to buyer account
But for hosting,you can give it to client if requested by client
