# Some heads up for Gfx designers regarding entering contests.

i understand what you feel and what you want to do in life but i just want to point out that even for a single time...you can just try to put your self in the shoes of those people who enters the low price contests and try to think why do they do that...and please don't misunderstand the meaning of ARTS just because the customer loves your work...try to study the history of those artists who struggle because of their works and you will know what art really is...art is not something that you earn it is something that within your whole being...your designs are not the impression of your customers requirement but the interpretation of how you view the requirements of your customer...now, if you only do what your customer wants because that is for money...then tell it to the house elves that works for their boss...

 

^Very philosophical, just depends where you stand on art though. This forum, Digital Point, is about making a quick buck here and there, thats the exact reason the contests are held. This isn't an art lovers forum, if you want to make stuff for free i'm sure there are other forums across the internet that hold such contests, but this specific forum is wholey about money, and that is why i'm here. Call me a house elf, but check my bank account from DP and i'd tell you it's worth being one.
