    Hey man, don't fret!

Just head on down to google and send them a report on how you think he is steeling your frames and they will have him taken off their search results immediately, as it can be harmful for them too. Google can get into legal trouble if they continue to show sites that are in breach of copyright in their results. Just let them know about it and he will get what's coming to him.

Just curious as in here who is in breach of whose copyright? It doesn't seemed that the OP had the copyrights to the videos he is showing.

Do you have any more hot sites? I'm looking to build a copy cat and make some money off your efforts:p
    Just kidding -

You can either compete - - very tough since .com is universally recognized.
Give up - - bad idea
Offer to buy the site from him - maybe he'd sell
Offer to forward your traffic to him (less work more $$)
wait until he doesn't renew and try to catch it.

    Good luck

I sent google an email, going to see if they remove them from google.

Give up? Never I'm still building back links as we speak.
Buy the site from him, hmm he might.
I don't know about forwarding my traffic to him.
Wait til he doesn't renew (I'm not waiting a year :))

Don't think it'll matter I'm building back links, and every page is on Google, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have the latest videos before many sites besides usa network :). It's okay ;).

People will find your site first through the search engines, but the next time they will type it with .com Whatever you do, at the end the traffic will end up for your competition.
How can you even start growing your website without having .com? What did you expected? To make SEO for .info and living .com unregistered?

OMG! Why would Google do anything? Did that website violate your intellectual rights? No! The domain name is a dictionary word and the name of the show. So there is nothing illegal there. This happens all the time. Just get over it. Just continue working on your own site. It was your own fault for not registering the .com.

If you did in fact do this, it appears to have had some effect on his site b/c in search results for in plain sight episode(s), the .com is nowhere on the first five pages, and watch in plain sight, .com is on second page. Keep doing what you're doing with seo, link building, etc..., and you'll have nothing to worry about.

    Cheers

Hmmm... actually I'm one of few people who do read the thread before replying. And it looks like you are the one who could not even read my post. I was not asking you why you did not buy the domain. I said its your own fault for not buying it regardless of the reason.

There is no help now, you should ask before you start if you don't know what to do. If you even know just a little SEO than you should know that .com would rank better and that is the better option to have. If you don't have money than you should just wait until you have.

Actually .com doesn't have to do anything to rank in the search engines. .info will send the traffic for free.

should have waited a week or two and saved $10.
$10 is not much... just don't buy coffee for a few days. ;P

if you had waited a week, bought the domain then, you wouldn't be having this problem. He wouldn't have got it and wouldn't have found a place to steal information from, as it looks like he just stole the idea from you. Remember; Impatience never helpful.

If you don't have $10 for a domain name, then you don't have $10,000 for a competent lawyer.

Not to mention your site is borderline legal in the first place, his doesn't even look similar and you obviously don't have a trademark (nor would you be able to register one, as you're stealing from the USA Network).

Nobody is stealing your fame. You made stupid decisions and they're coming back to bite you.

Lol, I think they just want to say you're, cheap (nah, i can't speak for people)

But, you definitely made $10 if you're so worried about your site now getting coppied. So exactly when did this site appear, his site? and are you saying you didnt have $10 between the time of buying to this point in time?

In all fairness, you might have waited and lost the .info, .net, org, com, whatever. So you made a choice you have to live with now. I remember being low of funds and leaving a .com one day after thinking up the name, and next day all tlds i liked were gone.

Your case though, is very very different.

Godaddy had .info for a $1, I had to pay some expenses at the time being. Me not having hosting or buying a .com? pff.

My site was up first so it don't matter. My site ranks high on different keywords, he only ranks #1 for the main domain "Watch In Plain Sight" wow I'm so proud? gtfoh. I'm still building link backs and his sites garbage.

@taylorwilsdon - this topic wasn't about suing and shit. It was about getting back #1 on search engines aka SERPs. I'm pretty sure this is a link building forum.

@nandanamnidheesh - no godaddy had them for $0.99 cents

    Looks like it

My site was up a good week, wasn't thinking about the .com, never really thought about it as I was low on funds bills comes first.

Like every other post, said the same thing.

And he would of bought the whole lot(aka all of them) its a popular show.

The topic went off topic much, the point of this topic was to ask how do I get back on top of serps, there other keywords and things I can use to stay on top? As he didn't use much seo, hes just depending on the domain name to be his main keyword.
