Hi Friends, I have some silly questions which I never found answer, I hope some one here can answer them? 1. When we log in to our adsense account, we see a tab caleld page impressions. What exactly is that? If this is the number of page views my site gets thn I do not think this is the naswer cause if my site gets 500 page views the page impressions shows only 200 or 220.. 2. If I am using the same subscriber ID in more than one site and I get more number of clicks from a perticular site , does it has anything to do with my earning? To be more specific, suppose I have 3 sites where I am using adsense with same subscriber ID. and I get 500 impressions from 5 clicks (all 5 clicks from a single site), where as from teh site where I get 5 click, if adsense is used only in tht site the impression will be around 200. So will I still earn the same amount or more or less? Please answer the above two questions..
1. That just shows the total amount of impressions (views) your pages have received. 2. I don't really understand your question, but if one site is receiving more clicks then another, that's not a problem. You may want to find out why your other sites are not receiving clicks though. This could be due to the color scheme you used, the ad size, placement, etc. You can set up channels to track each different website.
1. Impressions are counted by pageviews, if a visitor looked at 10 pages you would have gotten 10 impressions. 2. You can use Channels to track each sites earnings seperatly, multiple sites will only affect your earnings in a positive manner since you have MORE revenue sources
As I told, the impressions it shows does not tally with the page views i receive. Because google analytics shows a different stats for page views which does not match with impressions.
AdSense counts only the impressions your being "paid for" in a sense. A lot of people don't have javascript and won't see the ads, also people block the ads as well.
It's like pageviews but every counter all are different each other. I believe google is more accurate.
