Hey everyone, I've done a few html/css jobs but a client of mine requested a relatively simple flash template build.

He was interested in something like this:

I've never done flash and was just wondering how labor intensive something like this would be.

    Thanks!

Welcome to Hell. Population: All the people and search engine spiders who won't be able to access the site. If I were you, I'd educate your client about the pitfalls of going with an all-Flash design like this (like how his site won't rank nearly as well because the search engines cannot index Flash files). If he doesn't believe me, or if you need more information to back this up, read the Search Engine Optimization FAQ over at SitePoint (FREEBIE) and the "All You Need to Know About SEO" thread that is linked to in my signature.

And to answer your question, such a job would be fairly labor intensive, even for a Flash professional, unless the Flash file has already been made (and those tend to be of such low quality anyway that they're not even worth it).

Oh, one other thing. Music is a big turnoff to those viewing non-entertainment sites (especially when viewing them at work). If someone hears music, they'll leave the site never to return, especially if their job depends on it.
