Hi all, I've been working on a free hosting, developer tutorials, website for about 11 months now, and some feedback would be awesome! It's been growing amazingly fast, getting a couple hundred registrations a day recently, and I'm about to start a major advertising campaign in about 2 weeks...trying to get a load of tutorials published before then. Spend a couple of hundred on a graphic designer as soon as you can afford it. Consider making the tags less obnoxious immediately. I can barely see the content you are offering because of the tags.
This site has a lot of what seems good content (i have not read each page just scanned a few) and i like the logo. I think the ads are placed in a discreet manor but in my opinion the front page needs some tweaking. There is a lack of color to this website also and especially on the front page the only color really comes from the ads and that is what I personally am drawn to first instead of the actual content. Overall though it seems a very worthwhile site and i can see why it is so popular.
Thanks for the feedback so far! I made the tags about 4 pixels smaller, and about the graphics, I'd rather have a site built around more content rather images, just my style.
I like it. It's different, and with so much being cookie-cutter on the web, that is good. That said, there were a number of minor problems with language. Also, with the "different" it took me a bit to get used to navigating the site. Other than fixing the language problems, I'd keep it as-is. Heck, I even bookmarked it as a potential host. When I'm ready, I'll certainly consider it. Hope that helps - stroke the ego. BTW how old are you? Just curious.
