I have some doubts regarding social bookmaring on wordpress, I help out my friend who runs an adult celeb based blog, he has pretty good domain name Now, the actual deal is, Social bookmarking plugin is enabled in the blog, and we are not able to see links been submitted to any of the social bookmarking sites, we are not sending any bookmarks our own. The only site where the posts are submitted is blogged, so how can we submit to most of the bookmarking sites or at least one such as digg automatically if possible ? members usually don't submit the blog to their bookmarking sites, at least we are un-aware of it. So, is there any alternative to it, so that we could globalize more in this regards feedback would be highly appreciated, currently the blog has pretty good no.of links on google and some keywords have 1st page search result too
you want the posts auto-submitted to the social networks? There are a couple of plugins that do it, easiest to set up and get running is WP - Twitter. There are similar for delicious, linkedin etc DD
actually there is a plugin installed but it doesn't submit automatically, its Add to Any, user has to manually bookmark or submit, so can you suggest any if there is an auto submit, it will save tons of time
The only purpose of social media button plugins is to display social media button to your every post, so that your readers or site visitors can click on them in case they think your post is worth digging, tweeting or sharing on facebook. If you want to submit your posts to hundreds of social bookmarking sites available, you need a special software for this. Although most of these automated social media submitter software actually work and save you tons of time, some popular social media sites block these software and might mark your IP as that of a spam. Manual submission, IMHO, is still the way to do it.
