I will want to know more about Broadband service. One service company in India provides 2MBPS speed, Download/Upload limit 1GB. I will not understand Download/Upload limit.

Download/upload limit means that you can only download 1GB data from internet if your monthly bandwidth is 1GB. Clear?

download/uload limit is the maximum amout of data transmission you can get that is saving some file from the internet and also sending some file from your pc to the internet. And i think that you are talking about that BSNL broadband company. With 2mbps you get a download speed like 200 kilobytes per second !

    Broadband >>> dialup.

Still, it sucks that they limit you to 1GB/month. Do you have to pay extra if you go over or do they cut you off until the next billing cycle?

I think you talking about BSNL broadband. BSNL has provided same package 2MBPS speed and 1 GB downloading and uploading speed.

I am using sify broadband and it working just fine:eek: . Its cheaper then other Provider in my area so don't have any other option:(
