Hi there, I've never used a directory before, nor have I explored or looked at one. I have the general idea of what their use is, but I have a few questions I hope someone wouldn't mind answering: 1. What's the main reason why people submit to directories? Just promotion? 2. What makes a directory sought after? 3. Are many people willing to pay for submissions? 4. Do they affect PR, or is google wise to this? The reason I'm asking these questions is because I'm planning on creating my own directory software.
