Some data centers showing new serps

I'm seeing some new and very pleasing serps on several data centers

New, as in one of my pages was 100 and something in the old serps, in the datacenters showing the new results I'm #10 for one of my main phrases I'm after.

 

I didn't mean it was showing 'new content' if thats why this thread was moved to this part of the forum.

The site I'm talking about is more than 9 months old with no new content.

My point is about possible changes for everyone's Google results.

 

Not seeing changes here, but will continue to check and see if anything pops up. Thanks for the heads up.

 

yep - I am seeing changes as well

some great - some not so good - but overall better than at the moment

I have been recording the position of the experiment page on different Datacenters, at different times of the day. As I had noted that there seems to be fluctuations on the same Datacenter throughout any given day.

Here is the chart I have been keeping - Daily Fluctuations

One odd thing I have noticed today is that the cache date of the page is Nov. 18th 2004. However, just a day or so ago, the cache date Google was reporting was a "late Dec" date. (I often do a spot check just to be certain G is keeping current and did not record actual Date that last time I checked, I just noted that it WAS current!)

Are the cache dates for the pages you are following current today in Google? Particularly on the dayacenters you are detecting serp changes on.

I am asking you to reconsider your decision to move this thread here.

Please look at the table I have linked to and note the changes in the position of one page on the different Datacenters just today alone.

This is something going on with Google and Not a "help me optimize my site issue" that would fall under "website reviews".

Please reconsider.

I tend to agree Caryl. Some of the posts moved here I believe have been submitted to make others aware of interesting happenings on Google rather than the 'I don't understand my ranking' type post. As a result I do tend to check this forum now as it seems to be where the most interesting (for me anyway) Google related threads go.
