Some clicks, no money...

    Hello,
Can you someone explain to me why when someone clicks on my ad I get paid for some clicks and not for others.
I sometimes see 20 clicks and my balance at $3.50 for example, then 21 clicks and the balance hasn't changed

Can someone shed light on this for me lol?

Either that or it was an invalid click, or even a fraction of a cent was recorded.

What is the script called that tracks your clicks and stops people from clicking on them if they are doing so repeatedly?

It most likely was a invalid click, wither done by a bot or you clicked it yourself. The other case could be as RTSngz stated that there was a public service ad running at the time and Google does not pay for that.

Invalid clicks are quite common. My advice is not to dwell on clicks. The UVs are much more valuable to you in the long-term than a few clicks are.

Does anyone have a free alternative to Adlogger? The site says it no longer works.

I've noticed that as well. Someone referred me to it, and I guess I got there the first day it was down, because all I got was a blank screen.

Yeah, as I have said 2 times an alternative to adlogger would be nice.

Maybe that click was considered invalid (same user clicking too much ads).
That's something normal, you have nothing to worry about.

    Thanks :D
Just as I predicted my adsense earning has gone up today. The second day I have added adsense to my site and I have made $7.10 through 42 clicks :D
