Hello, I recently decided to purchase a fully funtional ready made ecommerce site. But I seem to be running into a few problems. For starters they vary in price so much! I have seen sites for as little as $50, but others are in the 10's of thousands. I know it all depends on age, traffic rankings etc but its very hard to judge there worth. I think its best to go for something in the mid range, but whats a reasonable price. I dont want to pay over the odds! I have a few in mind but not sure on prices. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this question has been asked before. Thanks for your time, John.
Well, I am not sure about the others but I would typically look at the site based on my opinion and not historical results (which may or may not be replicated). Of course, the lower you paid for the site, the smaller your risk level. What is a reasonable price would be a price which you are willing to lose. Sorry for sounding so negative but I like to limit my risk. On the same note, you might want to check out the reputation of the seller by checking their past posts and iTrader ratings. The trouble is that some people who sells their sites may not be painting the full picture and may over inflate their sales, some may avoid the issue of the cost of monthly investment into the business. You also need to question why a site which is so profitable would be placed on sale.
Hello, Thank you for the quick response! Yes I have been thinking along those lines. Still its difficult to know what price to pay. The one I have in mind seems good. But I'm not sure. I will have a think about it, I still have a few days before it ends. Thanks again. More advise is still welcome.
