I have a couple of questions I am looking for peoples opinions on:

Is having my website menu as an php include (so I can update it site wide with 1 file) a negative on SEO?

If I have a PR0 web directory that is on a subdomain and I buy its own domain, can I just do a 301 redirect and still retain my backlinks? Any ideas what else I can do if I move it to a new domain?

    Thanks in advance

php includes don't effect SEO in any possible way.

301 will send the link juice to your new domain and theoretically everything should transfer over, but it doesn't always work perfectly.

PHP is use for development and you makes your site dynamic with php. So it does not have any concern with SEO. It makes SEO Job easy. as you can change your Tags at any time.
