Some Advice On Pay Per Click

    Hi There

I run a few different websites with a range of things. One of which sells Beauty Products.

I have recently tried some PPC programs namely Google and Facebook Ads. But I don't seem to be getting any sales from them, it just seems to be costing me money. I have a reasonable amount of sales on these sites so its not them, it just seems I am spending a fortune on these ads and not getting anywhere.

Can anyone give me some pointers, a good PPC to try, or another effective way of advertising either free or for a budget?

Don't spend too much bidding on a click. Lower your bids a bit. Being #1 isn't everything.

Try maybe appearing only on the content network? Bids are much cheaper there, as many places wont even put ads on them out of fear of click fraud (which is usually caught relatively quickly)

You do not want to be in the number 1 or 2 position for sure as you will get clicks from people who are less likely to purchase what you are selling. The best spots are 3-7. But adwords can be a tough game and you can quickly lose more money than you make if you don't watch it closely. Set a daily budget that you can afford to lose until you learn the ropes. There are people who make thousands daily, so it can be done.

Sometimes being number 3 is much better. Number one may get the most clicks but that also means it spends the most and gets the most wasted traffic. Just letting you know from a lot of experience.

To be honest id say bin the facebook ads. Id have spent around £700 on clicks there (if it hadnt been for a few vouchers) for total sales of £30quid. Not sure about adsense either I have had similar experiences in the past. Iv'e PMd u with details of a system that I use to get BUYERS, not BROWSERS to my site for free!

There are a lot many factors that are involved in Google Adwords Marketing. I used to think that, it was limited to merely setting up 2-3 ad-groups for a campaign with a limited number of keywords and setting up a single campaign for your niche(Beauty Products in your case). Its not that simple to implement...

I read PPC classroom, an interactive course to learn PPC marketing. They have explained all the A-Z PPC concepts in a very efficient manner. Its actually worth reading...And You will miss out on a lot of things if you do not...

PPC classroom is open and being given for free...(Limited Offer)

There is a thing called quality score which plays a major role in CPC(It can bring your CPC from 2$-3$ to 50 cents per click for high traffic keywords, If you can get yourself to improve the quality score)

You will get to learn all these concepts in PPC classroom!
