Maybe bids are too low? Also, try contacting Google Live specialist.

you started with 5 campaigns or one campaign with 5 different ad groups which would be more logical for the starter?

if you have some ad groups that are working and others not, may be they are put on hold till adwords can review the ads. click on the ad group and go under keywords. next to keywords, there is an arrow, move your mouse there. you don;t have to click, just postision your mouse over the arrow and see whether it says "ads showing" = yes or no. if it says no and you do not see any message from adwords, then your ad groups ads on hold for editorial review and will be released soon.

I can take 1 day to a week for a content network campaign to get approved to run. All of them go through a manual review process, that's what you're waiting for now.

    1. your content campaigns may no be set up correctly
    2. you may not be bidding high enough to appear on the content network
    3. You may be targeting an extreme niche
