Buying Solve linking problem and get $5

Hi,

I have having a a bit strange problem in http://yappee.oursamplewebsite.com/

In this page in "CATEGORIES" section, each category has it's own link, but if you click on any category link , it always goes to http://yappee.oursamplewebsite.com/category/beds/, "BEDS" category. To replicate the problem click on any category link other than "BEDS" category, you will see it's taking you to "BEDS" category only, not the category you clicked. But if you right click on the link and open it in new window, it takes you to correct link. I hope I am clear about the issue.

Just let me know what causing this. I will give you $5 . PayPal only.

put screenshots. I click on for example "Dining" it takes me to http://yappee.oursamplewebsite.com/category/dining/ and so on. It works for me.

 

Are you clicking on top menu links ? Those are fine. Scroll down, you will see "CATEGORIES" in boxes. Check those links.

 

I've found something. There's an event listener attached to the whole area.

If you click the pillows section below, it goes to the first link. Same as beds.

 

Can you be bit more specific? I see that issue in pillows section too. Thanks. Please let me know more.

 

It's very badly coded theme, I recommend you to choose some others theme.

 

I found that you are using wordpress, and you're using "storefront-child" theme.

1. Go to /wp-content/themes/storefront-child/js/scripts.js

2. Remove line 21 untill 24. (This is the problem. If you dont want to remove, comment it)

 

Seems to work as it should on my end. I would further suggest stripping /category from the url actually. If those folk were in the US I would have already bought some new pillows lol..

 

Or not. Go to settings>permalinks and simply hit save again. That will typically resolve the issue.

It worked. You just have to clear your cache and you'll notice the difference.

You might not be able to click the "box", but you may click on the link, and it will go to the right page.

To make the "box" clickable, that will be another story
