Yep but regretably that is not going to happen, now is it? Not with the present day political and military protagonists at least
It will when the Palestinians overthrow the Hashemite King of Jordan. The PLO was defeated in 1970 in the fighting known as Black September in Jordan The Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) branch, whose headquarters were located in Damascus also to intervene on behalf of the PLO. The PLA was equivalent to a division and was defeated by the 40th Armored Brigade of the Jordanian army.
There's no such thing as a "State of Palestine Trans-Jordan" in 1947, there is only the Emirate of Transjordan. And it was a part of the British Mandate of Palestine, which does not just consist of the West Bank and Gaza.... I doubt Israel would want THIS to happen As for the solution to the Conflict, the idea behind the two-state model was: A) Israel stop their aggression and withdraw without any conditions out of East Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank to the pre-1967 borders. B) Give Palestinians their right to self-determination and right to elect ANYONE they want to be in power. Not their lackeys and certain corrupt individuals who would collude with Israel for their own self-interests. C) Dismantle all Jewish settlements. I mean ALL. D) Hand over total control of Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem to the Palestinian government. I, however, personally do not think that the two-state model is feasible any longer.
Stop U.S.A support of Israel, which in turn will create a stalemate that forces both part to find a compromise that will be called peace.
Would be the stupidest thing to ever do. Anyone? You mean like they elected Hamas who shoots rockets toward Israel? (Reminder, that's an act of WAR.) Fuck no. Agreed. Again, that depends on the government. Also, East Jerusalem is kept by Israel. There's no way Israel is going to let those who they've been fighting for 40 years have basically direct access to the capital city. Splitting up a city, especially a capital city to two countries is retarded, stupid and idiotic. Never happened in history and will never happen.
First and foremost to solve this issue the UN should make an offer to evacuate anyone who is not willing to die for their feeling of entitlement to the land. Anyone who choses to stay should elect representatives on both sides, they should meet with the UN and provide lists of their wants and desires. Any that can be mutually met should be. Any that cannot, well I'm sorry... you win some you lose some and if you have to lose some in the name of peace than you should suck it up and do so. Those who still disagree and want more well... I know this may sound calis, but f**k them. In all honesty, f**k each and everyone of them. If they are not willing to reach a mutual agreement for peace where both sides are willing to give in a little bit in the name of peace, than it is quite clear to me that they should be left to fight it out betwen the two of them. Hopefully, it would end up that they all get killed and then some people who are actually interested in peace can live in the area.
Palestinian pipe dreams. Not gonna happen. As for "palestine-jordan" that was a British territory. AFTER Britain let Jordan secede, it included ALL of what is now Israel. So every Palestinian is just a Jordanian who won't be bothered to move to Jordanian territory. The real solution for peace: 1) All Jordanians claiming to be palestinians (there was never a palestine state, ALL "palestinians" are former jordanian residents that lives in the area known as palestine) MOVE to jordan. Peace achieved. Were not the entire Muslim world deadset on regaining this territory, they would of set up a fund, and paid to move them to Jordan. The UN and other organizations would help I'm sure. The real issue at heart is Muslims trying to "retake the Holy land" that they lost. Sure Israel took it from them, but doing another wrong never rights it. It'd be like if Native Americans were waging a war on Americans to get back their land. Just idiotic and a waste of time, don't get me wrong it's tragic how we killed millions of native americans, but fighting over it decades later is foolish. Luckily they don't have a warlord prophet who taught them to fight infidels. But hey there'll be another Israel vs. Arab war in 6 months. You can count on it. Biden promised it (which is why he's being tucked away all the time, haven't seen him on the TV since Biden kept saying 6 months into Obama's presidency there would be a "generated international crisis", he hasn't spoke a word since election day really, even the pro-left huffpost covered it where's joe?). Not to mention the bible prophecizes a 3 1/2 year war at the end, and the jewish jubilee, as well as the Hindu Kali Yuga calendar and mayan prophecies coincide with a "new age" on Dec. 21, 2012, and 3 1/2 years before that would be June, 2009, 6 months from now, when Joe Biden, who has disappeared, predicted the "generated" crisis. I know that all might be grasping at straws, but nonetheless even most israeli generals said they wouldn't wait past summer 2009 to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. If that happens, then it'll be the first time a Shiite nation has been attacked recently (as were Sunni Iraq, Sunni Afghanistan). I think the entire muslim world could be unified by such an action. Who knows how Shiite Iraq, which signed a security pact with Iran, will react. Technically our "liberated" country would be required to defend Iran from Israel, and by proxy against US. All that training 200,000 muslims, only for them to turn on us. 'Course I've said all along training muslims in modern warfare to defeat muslim terrorists is retarded. If the summer passes and no war breaks out between Israel and some arab country, I would be utterly shocked (I might start celebrating since things won't be as hard as I fear ).
