A recent email had me scratching my head:

    Hi ,

I wish to promote your product math riddle book at my email list. I would much appreciated if you could send me two copies of your ready made solo email template.

    Thank you

What is a solo email template? A few basic google searches left me confused.

THanks in advance for your help.

Some publishers offer pre-made email templates that they offer their affiliates. It's basically a sales letter in email form (in html or not). I'd make one up for the guy and make a few more that affiliates can choose from.

...I'm assuming that is what he is asking for.

Just an email promoting your product. That's it.

It's like a short article in a email format convincing a person to go to your website.

    Thanks everyone!

That wasn't too hard. :) I created two such email articles today and uploaded them to my site for him.

It doesn't sound like you know this guy.

    What if he's a spammer?

I doubt he's a spammer, he's probably got his email list, and he's sending it to his contacts

When it comes to attracting affiliates, I'll take the risk. :)

Maybe I'm too trusting, but I'd hate to lose out on sales.
