Solid Writers Wanted, Up to $135 per original article

SIA is getting ready to launch www.SayItAloud.com and needs more writers.

Topics can be just about anything (see our categories section for a complete list)

Our Site has already climbed the Alexa ranking by over 18million in just two weeks and we are getting daily calls from sponsors.

Requirements:
Articles must be original content (not on another website)
Must not contain profanity (a good writer can be more creative)
Must not condone terrorist or illegal acts with few exceptions

Preferences:
Articles should be a minimum of 500 words in length
Writings should stay on point
Writers should be able to utilize a large vocabulary
Pictures and images are preferred

Registration is simple and free. I do not need to see your portfolio or past writings. Once you register and submit your articles they will be reviewed by our staff to ensure no TOS violations and for quality. Once approved the posts will go live and our sales staff will go to work selling the sponsorship space.

Payment

Once we have reached our goal of enough writers, new writers will only receive 10% of the sponsorship revenue with 1% given for each new article. However, while we are working on our goal of one thousand writers, anyone who registers and submits articles will be grandfathered in at the 50% cap. This means that a two page article of 600+ words fully sponsored will earn the writer $135.00. Payments are made by paypal or check (please specify when registering) on a monthly basis.

I tried to register on SIA website as per link above and couldn't see the security code.
Apparently if you can't see the code you disable your ad blocker and refresh.

Did that and still couldn't see it.

The process is pretty easy. We have a staff of readers who review each article for original content and to see that it isn't violating our TOS. Once an article goes live they send the link to the proper sales people who go to work selling the advertising space. Once sold the writer gets 50% which on a two part article works out to be $135.00 at our present pricing.

Speaking to the staff yesterday they have already sold dozens of spaces and the articles that were the easiest to sell related to mesothelioma, law, weight loss, insurance, online schools, gaming, computers, websites, and loans. So the biggest thing is to take into consideration not only the readers, but which topics are going to get you the best result in advertisers. Yes, your article on getting attacked by a deer while in the basement of your home might be interesting, but how many related advertisers can we really pull from in an article like that?

Try it on an article or two, follow those tips, and I think you will be as suprised as everyone else.

Troy, just talked to support and they are baffled. Just email your info to including your email, desired pw, and what you want for a user name and they will set you up. They will probably be bugging you on your setup to try to duplicate the problem.

 

Yeah, that is an actual article that someone submitted. The only advertisers we could approach for it were related to fish and game and hunting safety. A very small group. Just want to keep people from making the same mistake by putting in articles we are going to struggle to find advertisers for.

 

In all honesty, how soon could someone expect to be paid if they submitted an article on a popular topic/subject matter?

 

Depends on how you select your payment method. Deep Thinking's article on Paul being gay got sponsored by a gay religious group but he requested a check so it will be the beginning of the next month that he gets paid since checks are only issued once a month. But Randy V's article on Mesothelioma got fully sponsored and he used paypal so payment is within two weeks.

So I suggest using paypal personally, although I would like other payment options in the future because, well, I hate paypal, lol.

Look, if we wanted articles that were somewhere else on the web we would have just grabbed them ourselves and taken the money for it. But the bottom line is clone content will drop our ranking which is right now in the top 140k websites. As far as how we check, I am not going to give out that information simply because then people will look for ways to bypass it. If you don't want to write original articles then we are not the site for you and it is sure as I breath not fair to the people on our site who bust their intellectual tails to put up fresh content.
