I have made my feelings about GTech's banning very clear, all he needs to do is look at some of my recent posts from yesterday or Friday.

 

It's just so infantile. Like, I read your post, and I instantly knew he'd make a childish response like that. It's really frustrating when you try and be reasonable, say for example when you commended GTech for having a few reasonable, knowledgeable posts devoid of the crap you usually see here, and he responded by calling you a brown noser, I believe. I've seen the opportunities to grab their quotes out of context for a quick laugh, but I'm better than that. Don't know why everyone else can't do the same.

 

I agree. It is pretty shocking to hear a politician who actually makes sense and speaks the truth.

Sure he hasn't had a lot of results. People bitch and moan about the government, but when an agent of change comes along, they get all protectionist.

Ron makes a great point. When he votes against taxes, he's voting for lower or no taxes. When he votes against the war, he's voting for peace.

It's more of an indictment about what a sad state we are in, with a floundering currency, massive deficits owed to foreign nations etc, that Ron Paul hasn't been heeded along the way. But he's had the courage to stand up and be the (at times) single voice of dissent.

I find it really strange that people have a problem with the candidate running on the Constitution and Liberty.

 

The problem with neocons and ron paul is that hes trying to take their guaranteed gravy train from them. It doesnt matter how many of our troops or innocent iraqi children get killed for them to accomplish this goal as long as they get rich. Mia , gtech and the others seem to keep pushing
these politicians on us but the american people are waking up from our slumber. Lets see how long the big media machine can keep all of those voices down.

Well, what I think is truly sad is that the people who support the neocons don't understand that the neocons do not support them.

I hear lots of nonsense about angry young white males, and yet they seem to be the ones most attracted to fanaticism political, ideological and social.

This was the exact sort of environment that ushered in Hitler. You had religious zealots, secret police and domestic spying, an unaccountable government, the news became tools of the state, and very hard right vs. left divides in the country.

Wade just likes to argue hard and be the center of attention. But the scary thing, is that the positions he takes to argue from, are the ones which have been a prelude to very ugly times in human history.

That is not the point Mia, the point I keep trying to make is that literally any other member would have been banned for a long time for the comment made, whether it was taken out of context is wholly irrelevant, it even had members that have never made a post in P&R commenting on it.

Personally I'm not too arsed whether the guy is here or not because I find most of his posts are just repetative rhetoric and I don't spend enough time here to worry about him.

 

Sorry, I don't believe that to be true... I have seen no favoritism what so ever. That is what you are implying, is it not? Many of the mods, including the owner of the forum have some quite different views than Wade. Generally if you are going to play favorites you do not do so with people you do not agree with.
