Hi not sure on a value as I am relatively new to this.

I am absed in Dubai however and would say that solarpanels.ae could be interesting as renewable energy is all the rage here and they are putting in literally fields of solar panels in the desert.

solarheating however I wouldn't be so enthusiastic about as the temp here rarely goes below mid 30s even in winter.

    I have abudhabivip.ae and vipabudhabi.ae

    Any thoughts on these?

You have any experience selling .ae domains?

I have sold a couple in the last 6 months or so, but these are the ones I have big hopes for, I have done a lot of research and with the amount of construction going on over there and the amount of energy being used, Solar Power was always going to take off IMO

The main domains I have sold over there are .com's, but I am trying to focus on .ae names for a bit. I think there is massive potential in these names

As you know, VIP.ae received a huge offer so I guess the names have some potential but i think you may struggle to find an end-user for them

    I also have SolarPower.ae

    Good luck

    Hey thanks for the reply.......

Now solarpower.ae has good potential I would say. Have you heard of Masdar? Look it up if not, masdar.ae everything here as I said is all about renewable energy.

I took a punt with my two, I agree it could be difficult to find an end user but I thought with vip.ae maybe worth a go. I do wonder with some of the press about domains out here whether a lot of it is hype and what transactions have actually taken place.... time will tell.

I have another couple, horse related which I am really excited about but keeping under wraps for a bit, I am actually thinking of developing them a bit as I think they represent a good advertising potential.....

I agree though, lots going on over here annd once the summer is over business picks up again so fingers crossed on the back of the recent hype we can all prosper a bit......

Let's keep in touch.... There are still more gems out there, I am really tempted to get another couple........

    Good luck yourself!!

Yeah, I have done a lot of research on Masdar and followed its progress from the beginning. Amazing project

Then there are questions whether they will crack down on the sales of .ae names like this article below, I think make sure your names dont look like they are for sale, thats why mine have Whypark sites on them for now.

Some sites that may interest you, you may already have seen them

I have had a bit of interest in MuscatTourism.com and MuscatWaterfront.com - I believe its becoming more and more of a tourist destination, I know this project is in progress

Yeah that's a fair point which is why I am thinking of developing mine a little. Although I suspect that it won't be too much of an issue unless you are infringing on trademarks, you would have to be silly to even consider that over here, especially where any of the local businesses or families are concerned.

Thanks for the links, I will check them out, I have been wondering what to do with some of them......
