I came across some people who are saying we can use softwares for directory submission. Is it true?? are they helpful?? but even if they are how can softwares check the captcha thing n submit directories???
You can use software for submissions, i haven't used any so i cant give a useful enough opinion on them. I prefer not to use them but some seem happy enough with them.
Manually or auto doesn't matter, picking right categories and various titles/descriptions is important.
Dnt knw abt CAPTCHA thing, but dont use them as they r robots and automated and can do mistakes which can spam any directory and thus u r site will get rejected...
Some are better than others. However some software clearly just spams directories and looks bad in search engines. If you use it, open 2-3 campaigns to vary your anchor texts and descriptions etc.
There are directory submission software that helps you automatically fill in infomation such as site name and title, but captcha is done manually by the user.
if it's helped you newman ! help us knowing the name of the program that you used and help the community, so what's the name of the software where to get that bro. ?
Steer clear of software to do this at all costs! Google is learning fast and can now spot when a site has done this. It uses it in conjunction with how all of a sudden a site ends up with lots of links more or less overnight. Your site will end up suffering! The only way to get decent backlinks is by a slow trickle, and done manually! You might see a few months (or less) if you use an application, but don't take the chance! Andy
If you submit to a ton of directories over a week or so, any backlinks you get will probably appear over a period of months for a couple of reasons. Firstly directory owners take an unpredictable period of time to approve submissions, secondly the search engines take an unpredictable amount of time to index directories. There are some directory submission services that guarantee a listing. Using these might cause a large leap in your backlinks in a short period but submitting to a large number of general directories should be OK.
for the complete one try SEO studio I buy their license and never disappointed and for submitter I prefer tools from GSA
And you would be willing to take that chance? There are more and more warnings about this, more recorded instances of it happening and lets face it, it is a poor way to try and get a good placement rather than putting a bit of time into it instead. There is no substitute to controlling your content submissions. In general, I worry about some of the 'advice' given out on here! - Not to mentioned stunned that any SEM "professional" (and I use that term loosely) would use software for doing search engine optimisation!
Manually there is no problem. But if we are using automated then how can a software read the captcha thing while submission???
I guess you are rite. Instead things move to spam, its better not to do. But what for those seo companies who are using this?? and they say they are generating good traffic and ranking?? How is that possible then??
There are some semi-auto softwares which fill the form and you need to just put the captcha to submit the website.
