I was thinking, Is there any software that may remind of us links that we buy or that are about to expire? Something that could keep records of our campaigns in details?

I tend to rely on the link seller to send me an email when the link is about to expire. If they don't email you then they don't get paid anymore.

I have a Microsoft Excel file where I keep a record of every link I buy, and any other software or services that involve me spending on PayPal. It has these column titles:

    • When (date)
    • Who bought from? (usually forum username)
    • Cost
    • Seller's Paypal address
    • What Website (I run lots of websites so I need to know which one the purchase relates to)
    • What did you buy? (e.g. forum sig, permanent link, piece of software, etc.)

That is what people normally do. It would be great if you could send me a format of the same

There must be something which might remind us of recurring payments, expiring links etc.

I maintain four MSExcel files for links - bought (temp); bought (permanent) ; sold (temp) ; sold (permanent)

    I use the following fields:

    Site
Page (on which the link is placed)
    Price
Source/Comments (Whether bought/sold on DP,directly, traded for something etc)
    Date(Start)
    Date(Expiry)

It is easy to sort entries by using the the "sort" command in MSExcel.

(I also keep a backup copy of these files.)

Sachin, that is even better but still if you have so many links that you have bought and sold, you must have a reminder sort of thing that might do it for you automatically rather than going through the huge list

There is no question of going through the whole list.

Just make the expiry column in a fixed format like YYYYMMDD

    20061215
    20061027
    20080909
    20071212
    20071005

Just sort by the expiry column and you will have the entire list of links in ascending or desending order.

    20061027
    20061215
    20071005
    20071212
    20080909

The link seller is the person who sold me the link. :)
