Press "PRTSCN" on your keyboard (top right ish). This takes a capture of the screen (or print screen). Then open ms paint (start > programs > accessories > paint) then goto edit > paste voila, save as a jpg and you're done. HTH HAND.
I have been trying to do the same thing you suggest with adobe photo shop and microsoft paint. I am trying to make a screen shot of a video clip in windows media player. When I copy and past it, everything looks fine. Only when I close it and open the file again...I get a blank screen with just the microsoft player.

I tried many but this is best: Gadwin print screen. Different file types, locations. Really good software. gadwin.com/download/
you should try ACA capture PRO....with ACA capture, you can capture the images and videos you want easily,,,,
