Software to make my own directory?

Is there software where I can make my own directory?

I am currently busy with my Bachelor degree and we get a lot of links, files and sources. We also have to do alot of research.
Currently I have over 300 websites in my favorits and I export it and take it with me most of the time.

It would be great if I could make my own online directory where I (and other students) can put there links and maybe even files in html.

    Is this possible?

That is a good one I have used many times.

You can also search for biz directory and swift directory for other options.

    Good luck...

I'm working hard on getting 3.0 ready in hopefully 4-6 weeks.

Gossamer Links looks more professional than the others, but with a $450 price tag it's also a lot more expensive than PHP Link Directory. I imagine it would take quite a while to get your money back from advertising revenues (or however else you plan to profit from the site).

Yes, Links 2.0 is good. I used it at a couple directories. BTW, Links2.0 is $150 for a commercial license and the $450 is for Links SQL.

Ah yes, I didn't see the other script (though that wasn't the page that katakombe linked to), although I still think $150 is a bit pricey for a links script, even if it is a very good one.
