software to convert bmp to jpg in bulk

    i have more than one thousand images in bmp format and i want to convert all of them into jpg. if any one know a good software which changes the file format in bulk please tell me

    Adobe Fireworks can do that. I dare say that photoshop and illustrator can too, but I don't know for sure.

    Not positive but I think the free pixresizer softare will do a that conversion. I know it can do whole directory at one time.

    Yes, macromedia is now owned by adobe.

    You can use a batch process: File > Batch Process and then select the files you want to convert. Then select Export as the batch option.

    You can get a freeware program called Picture Girdle which is specifically made for that.
