    Hi everyone,
This is my first post. I was wondering if all you experts can give me some guidance on the following.

My company recently developed a software targeted towards the education sector and I was looking into developing a marketing strategy. My main concentration with regards to online marketing is SEO. However I want to look into networking, what is the best way to do so?

Secondly, with regards to offline marketing I do not think cold calls or cold call e-mails are of much use. We could possibly look into the current network but that is not a complete strategy. What options should I look into for offline marketing?

The product is for a niche section of schools and colleges so main stream marketing may not be worthwhile. I am ready to discuss details if someone wants further information.

    Thanks in advance.

best if you contact schools, once some of them start using it others would follow.

ups1984, try to promote within the public sector (so educational magazines/media for example). The public sector can be a huge market if you can capture it (I used to work in sales for a company that specialised in products and services for this area)
