Hi,.. I currently looking software for making video tutorial on my laptop, it will record any activity on my screen laptop while I'm doing something. I have try some software like CamStudio, Bandicam and a few other software but I can't find what I search for. I've see there some software, when you start recording, the pointer/cursor will flick indicate the location when you click, or right click (mostly with Red colour) also there's circle around the pointer... anyone using this software... thanks for looking
The software you are using is BSR Screen Recorder, It have all that feature sthat yyou are looknig for most of people who create video tutorials use that here is link so you can download trail version. http://download.cnet.com/BSR-Screen-Recorder/3000-13633_4-10198470.html
If you're saying that you have tried Camtasia studio and it's not for you because you cannot add those effects to the cursor and everything, I would like to tell you that you can! All of the above mentioned features are possible to add to your tutorial videos when using Camtasia Studio you simply edit the options/preferences. I believe you can add them to the recording after you have recorded too as well as clip and edit the entire thing. Look into it as if that is all you want then that would be the perfect software for you but it does come with a price tag. With that said, it is the best software for recording tutorials out there that I have used...
Well if you are looking for a free software, I'd say go for Webinaria ! It is free and it's great. It's just there will be a watermark on your bottom right ! Aside that it has got all the features that will surely amuse you! Also you can read the review about Webinaria on CNET !
I record drawing tutorials from time to time and I have to admit, as others stated it already above that Camtasia is the best choice, and that you have many various options there so you can play with those effects you want to achieve.
Here is a link to a site listing 18 different pieces of software that does what you are looking for: http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/freebies/free-screencasting-tools-video-tutorials/ Hope this helps NUK
