My organization wishes to present the results of a research project through an interactive map, that we're adding to our website. I'm the one with the most experience in IT here, so I got put to the task. I have some knowledge of HTLM and PHP, but I wanted to see if anyone knows of software that could make things easier for me(WYSIWYG would be nice too). I tried out Google's fusion tables, but it's a tad bit basic. I've also been looking at imapbuilder.com, but I can't find any reviews of the site. Their software is quite expensive, so does anyone have any knowledge of it, or any other good programs to use? The project is about expansion in cities, so I need to have something that can put markers on the map, and a function that can expand those by clicking on different years on the site legend. We're going to have some YouTube-videos embedded in the markers, showing off some interviews and the like. Any ideas would be appreciated.
