I'm an editor at a content portal, and I run all submissions through Plagiarism Detect (www.plagiarismdetect.com) before publishing them. It has picked up on cases of plagiarism that Copyscape has missed.
I have used copyscape for the last 2 months and it does work. You can try that and i will find more for you.
copyscape is a good option but after a maximum of 10 searches, it limits the search. So, for a writer, who writes on a regular basis, i think some other option must be considered. Right now, I am using proxy sites for Copyscape but that is cumbersome to say the least. http://www.articlechecker.com/
I myself use dupecop to ensure my content is unique enough so I don't get the Google Slap. Generally as a rule of thumb, especially if you intend to use dupecop I would shoot for a comparison of 35 to 40 percent or higher between the original and modified text. JJ
I had the same issue, and copyscape picked it up. I would never had found out without it. The great thing about copyscape is its 100% free, quick and you don't have to download anything
Even I think copyscape is a good option one of my friend have been using it and it has really helped him.Since I havnt used it myself I really dont know which one is best but from others opinion i think copyscape is a good option....
Just wondering, How he can use copyscape because copyscape does not allow the article to be uploaded right unless you have a premium account. He can use the following http://www.articlechecker.com/ and http://www.dupecop.com/transition.php Thanks
