    Hi,
I need another PHP script (ASP.net is possible but let me know beforehand). I have already bought two scripts here on DP and I'm happy with them.

    What do I need?
    Software archive

    What does it mean?
    Administration of files in categories
    Administration of users
    User registration
    User comments / ratings
    Search

... but check the attached file for much more extensive description.

I have PSD files with the design. I need it coded to XHTML. It uses rounded corners.

I don't want opensource in general but you can use opensource components like text editor (which is actually recommended). But no joomla, wordpress, drupal unless the offer is dramatically cheaper than competition.

DO NOT SEND ME PMs OR ANYTHING LIKE "Please contact me on MSN". I WILL NOT RESPOND TO SUCH MESSAGES. I provide you with all the specification needed (and if not than let me know) so you should be able to estimate the time needed and the estimated price.

I'm looking for your time and price estimates and don't forget to read the text in red :)

Sry for the zip file but DP has 19 kB limit for .DOC files

I got some interesting questions by PM:

    1,
Yes, there is either edit and update.

    Edit - just changes data
Update - swaps the file and updates the info (if any info update occurs).
Every software in the archive should have "Older versions" table. This table should contain only links to the older files.

So there is always one entry for each piece of software.

Only the newest version is in its category. Old versions don't have any properties (just name), these are just links to the old files stored in the archive.

Everything is inherited from the old piece to the new one excluding the file itself and the name (new version name) of course.

I hope that it is crystal clear now.

2, Files don't belong into multiple categories.

3, File structure is necessary as some software might have the same setup name (e.g. setup.exe). So always create folder for each software. This also covers updates. New update = new folder. If the new version has the same name then make sure there is no conflict (e.g. by adjusting folder's name or adding dates to folders or any other way).

File structure should be as follows:
Category -> Subcategory -> Folder itself (name of the software)
(new file) Internet Tools -> Internet Browsers -> Opera 10
(old file) Internet Tools -> Internet Browsers -> Opera 10 beta
(old file) Internet Tools -> Internet Browsers -> Opera 9.2

4, tagging should be visible for let's say 14 days but this is just minor issue. This should be stored in some variable so it is easily adjustable.

    Thanks for questions,
    old
