Social Networks Scripts

Is it possible to get a script where other people can post messages on your site like facebook and myspace for free?

Which sites can you get free php scripts that will help a social network site?

Where can I learn how to make a script where it allows people to login and have their own personal place?

You can try Drupal. It is free CMS, community oriented, where each member can have a blog.

Do not even bother with the dolphin, I would not take that script seriously because you have to pay a massive amount of money to remove the stupid dolphin logo from your script, in essense the script is not free, you have to pay just to remove the dolphin logo from your header.

Please read my review for social networking scripts

I'd go for that too, it's better than all of the paid solutions i've found.

Do you actively use it? I read somewhere that it is dying off but I see nothing to indicate this.
