Social Networking site.. worth to make one?

    Hello fellow members,
    I have the domain ApunkaWorld.com
    I want to make a social networking site like orkut or facebook on it.
    I wanted to ask Is it worth making one ? Would I get traffic coz the mentioned ones are too famous ? How could I get traffic and make money ?

    It depends on your niche!
    i tried to make a social network few years ago and i miserably failed. Its hard especially considering the saturated market!

    Try and see what happens!

    It would be very hard to do.... I would create groups within the current social networking sites build up a really good base then may try to get them to join your own site. just a suggestion.

    Yes,just do it.
    The correct way to do this is start from small by only targeting specific niche such as your country.
    Only expand to global when it member grew.
    Don't worry about the traffic coz you can hire people to do SEO for you.

    social networking sites are starting to flood the internet since the web 2.0 boom... wouldn't suggest it.
