Up until now I've been doing all the work myself (and not getting very far) I'll definitely be looking into these to increase the functionality and stickyness of my site.

My 'add a comment' facility is quite clunky and thus very rarely used so that's first on my agenda.

    Great thread, thanks.

I've installed astrospaces. This is the default install.

    http://www.hugsfordrugs.com/ts/astrospaces/

But doesn't look very impressive. The default has no graphics or anything fancy. So I'll probably remove it in a few weeks.

I've tried ELGG but too many bugs. I'm trying PHPizabi right now. I'll reply later if I get it working. Dolphin by Boonex.com is also good and works great.

    Thanks,
    ivnj

I'm in the middle of PHPizabi and all is smooth. But when it tries to create the database. Database is already made but I get this error.

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1 at line 1

Not sure where to begin. So looks like PHPizabi RC1 might be a little buggy.

    Thanks,
