I need a social networking script to make a cyclist community in order to organize events and rides. What would you suggest?

There are only just a few good social network scripts around.
Actually 3 well known and solid, exist for many years already and has good support too.

Jomsocial - http://www.jomsocial.com (this one is a Joomla component, Joomla itself is free of course)

I have purchased and try most of the scripts out there. My first script was abledating a f**** $900 dollar wasted. and after trying most of them I decided to use SE4 its heavy loading but you can get everything a social network needs

i had suggest you to use pinguchat from www.pinguchat.com and customize the script from freelancer.com
